Relationship Therapy for Teens & Young Adults
in Boca Raton & Telehealth Nationwide
Relationships, with family, friends, partners, or coworkers, shape a huge part of how we feel day to day. When those relationships are strained, confusing, or leave you feeling unseen, it can affect everything else, your mood, your confidence, even your sense of who you are. For many of the teens and young adults I work with, relationship struggles are at the center of what brings them to therapy.
What This Can Look Like
Relationship-related struggles show up in a lot of different ways, including:
-
Conflict or communication breakdowns with parents or family
-
Friendships that feel one-sided, complicated, or hard to maintain
-
Difficulty setting boundaries or speaking up for yourself
-
Dating and romantic relationships, including anxiety around them
-
Feeling isolated or like you don't quite fit in
-
Repeating patterns in relationships that leave you frustrated or hurt
My Approach
I work with teens and young adults trying to understand and improve their relationships, whether that means learning to communicate more effectively, setting healthier boundaries, working through family conflict, or figuring out patterns that keep showing up. Therapy with me is conversational and genuine. I want you to feel like you're talking to someone who actually gets it, not someone running through a checklist.
Together, we'll work on:
-
Understanding the patterns behind relationship struggles, not just the surface conflict
-
Building communication and boundary-setting skills you can actually use
-
Navigating family dynamics with more clarity and less reactivity
-
Strengthening your sense of self so relationships feel less overwhelming
Getting Started
If relationships, with family, friends, or partners, have been feeling harder than they should, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what's going on and see if we're a good fit.
